Warehouse Operative andndash; Counterbalance FLT Driver
Location: B8, Birmingham Salary: andpound;30,000 per annum Shift: 12:00 midnight andndash; 9:00am
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in the B8 area of Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently, and helping maintain a smooth flow of stock throughout the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move and position stock.
- Assisting with goods in, goods out and general warehouse duties.
- Moving, stacking and storing materials in designated areas.
- Checking stock and deliveries for accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
Requirements
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.
