Warehouse Operative
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: andpound;28,437andnbsp;per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10amandndash;7pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Weandrsquo;re looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a busy, hands-on team in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and providing a high standard of service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:
- Picking and packing customer orders safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and controlled manner
- Supporting goods-in and checking incoming deliveries
- Moving and putting away stock
- Preparing orders ready for dispatch
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation using 5S methodology
- Supporting perpetual and location-driven stock audits
- Working as part of the warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets
- Ensuring accuracy when handling and preparing customer orders
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
Key Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy boxes and tubes
- Comfortable navigating a large warehouse and locating stock
- Proactive and methodical approach to work
- Able to adapt to a changing environment while remaining calm
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Good organisational skills
- Great attention to detail and a good attitude
