We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician - LCV andamp; MOT Tester to join our client in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working on both cars and light commercial vehicles who is looking to join a well-established and busy workshop.

Main Duties
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Performing Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests
- Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
- Carrying out warranty and customer repairs to a high standard
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Road testing vehicles when required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with workshop procedures
Skills and Experience
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Current Class 4 and Class 7 MOT Tester licence
- At least 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous dealership or independent garage experience preferred
