The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing cars to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
andmiddot;Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
andmiddot;Completing repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards.
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks.
andmiddot;Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
andmiddot;Identifying additional work required and reporting findings.
andmiddot;Carrying out road tests where required.
andmiddot;Completing accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
andmiddot;Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
andmiddot;Working as part of a professional workshop team.

About You
andmiddot;Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance andamp; Repair, or equivalent.
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic.
andmiddot;Experience working on cars within a professional workshop environment.
andmiddot;Main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.
andmiddot;Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
andmiddot;Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
andmiddot;A willingness to learn and undertake further training.
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
andmiddot;Full UK driving licence.
