Are you well versed in Supply Chain within a manufacturing or assembly-environment?-
Our client based in Saffron Walden-is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.
As Supply Chain-Coordinator-your duties will include:
- In line with production schedules, plan, run and review MRP
- When placing orders,-Take account of BOMs, lead times, open orders-and minimum order quantities
- Indentifying supply risks
- Placing orders and following through to delivery
- Price negotiation / sourcing new suppliers
- Reporting KPIs as well as writing supply chain procedures
- Assist in improving current systems
- Being a central point of contact for suppliers
- Additiional relevant duties as required.
An ideal candidate for the Supply Chain-Coordinator will have:
- 5 years+ previous experience of supply chain within a manufacturing or assembly enviroment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Supplier management experience
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal andamp; written
- A relevant supply chain degree is desirable.
