About this role
This is a key site-based role within the delivery team in Whitehaven, responsible for managing the day-to-day construction of complex civils and infrastructure packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment. You will lead and coordinate site operations to deliver works safely, on programme and to budget, managing site teams, subcontractors and the supply chain. Planning and monitoring short-term programmes and resource requirements are central to the role, alongside ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards. You will also oversee quality control, inspections and handover documentation, and liaise with the client, designers and wider project team.

Sub Agent - Major Infrastructure (Sellafield)
Location: Sellafield, Cumbria
Salary: Circa £55,000 - £60,000 + package

About the Role
TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting a Sub Agent to support a major infrastructure upgrade programme at Sellafield, working with a leading Tier-1 contractor.
This is a key site-based role within the delivery team, responsible for managing the day-to-day construction of complex civils and infrastructure packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate site operations to deliver works safely, on programme and to budget
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain
- Plan and monitor short-term programmes and resource requirements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Oversee quality control, inspections and handover documentation
- Liaise with the client, designers and wider project team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Site Engineer progressing to Sub Agent within civils or infrastructure
- Sound understanding of NEC contracts
- Experience on major projects or within regulated environments
- SMSTS and CSCS (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
