Based in Margate, TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is a multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years. They're looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior or somebody who is studying the AAT or ACCA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. Given the nature of the business, there are great internal progression prospects on offer too.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
- Assistingandnbsp;with management accounts production
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- Generalandnbsp;bookkeepingandnbsp;dutiesandnbsp;using Sage, Xero orandnbsp;QuickBooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements
- You will have 1-5 years experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be studying AAT / ACCA or be qualified by experience.
- You will have hands-on experience in accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
Benefits
- -25,000 - -35,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable
