Are you a qualified Science Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity after the October half-term?

Aspire People is recruiting Biology, Chemistry, Physics and general Science specialists for secondary teaching opportunities across East Birmingham, with assignments available from Monday 2 November and throughout the remainder of the academic year.

We are particularly interested in teachers based around Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Yardley, Stechford, Washwood Heath and surrounding areas who would prefer to work in schools closer to home.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

We support secondary schools with daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term Science teaching assignments. We can also discuss potential permanent opportunities for teachers considering a longer-term career move.

Depending on the assignment, you could be teaching general Science across KS3, delivering GCSE Combined and Triple Science or teaching your specialist subject at KS4 and KS5.

Longer-term assignments may involve planning, marking, assessment and supporting pupils with examination preparation.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Science subject knowledge and the confidence to manage a secondary classroom effectively.

We welcome Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists, including ECTs who have recently completed their teacher training.

Strong behaviour management, adaptability and a professional approach are important, particularly when working across different secondary school environments.
