Job Role of the Quality Surveyor
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Quality Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure business based in Hayes.
The Quality Surveyor will travel to live sites across Greater London to inspect streetworks, civils, installation, maintenance, excavation and reinstatement works. You will check completed works against specifications, quality requirements and safe working practices, identifying defects or compliance issues and following corrective actions through to completion.
This is a practical site-based quality role suited to someone with streetworks, civils, highways, reinstatement or on-street infrastructure experience.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Quality Surveyor
- Practical experience in streetworks, civils, excavation, reinstatement, highways maintenance or on-street infrastructure

- Working knowledge of streetworks quality, HSQE and safe working practices
andnbsp;
- Ability to complete clear inspection reports using photos, notes, measurements and mobile/Office systems
andnbsp;
- CSCS card
andnbsp;
- Full UK driving licence
andnbsp;
Requirements of the Quality Surveyor
- Experience inspecting or checking site works against specifications
andnbsp;
- Ability to identify defects, unsafe practices or poor workmanship
andnbsp;
- Understanding of signing, lighting, guarding and temporary traffic management
andnbsp;
- Confident working independently on live sites
andnbsp;
- Strong attention to detail and right-first-time approach
andnbsp;
- Clear communication with operatives, supervisors, managers, clients and local authorities
andnbsp;
- Ability to plan site visits and manage priorities across multiple locations
andnbsp;
- Good record keeping and reporting skills
andnbsp;
- Confident using Microsoft Office, mobile devices and site reporting tools
andnbsp;
- Positive, practical and professional approach to resolving issues

Desirable Requirements of the Quality Surveyor
- NRSWA Supervisor or Operative qualification
andnbsp;
- LANTRA 12D or temporary traffic management knowledge
andnbsp;
- CITB site safety, quality, inspection or health and safety qualification
andnbsp;
- Experience with public infrastructure or local-authority streetworks
andnbsp;
- Experience with street furniture, public transport infrastructure or electrical connection works
andnbsp;
- Previous quality inspection, site inspection or audit experience
andnbsp;
