We specialise in complex, tight-tolerance work, machining a wide range of materials from carbon steels through to stainless and exotic alloys. Our continued growth is driven by investment in people, machines and facilities and weandrsquo;re now looking to strengthen our machining team.
We are seeking a Quality Manager to head our quality team in a precision manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will manage all of the companyandrsquo;s quality processes to ensure paperwork and components are produced to company specifications.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Manager:
- Monitor adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and establish quality procedures within the quality department
- Maintain ISO and API accreditation within the business
- Conduct and oversee all internal and customer audits
- Support and initiate continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Oversee and support any investigations within Quality
Essential Requirements for the Quality Manager:
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality standards
- Experience within precision manufacturing or engineering environments
- ISO and API understanding
- Knowledge of CRN investigations and resolution processes
- Experience conducting internal and customer audits.
- Ability to drive quality improvements and implement best practices on the shopfloor
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to communicate quality standards effectively to production teams
