Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Pontypool
Hours: 40-hour week, Monday to Thursday 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Friday 7:00AM - 1:00PM
Pay: andpound;13.98 per hour
Immediate start available. We're recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy vehicle manufacturing team in Pontypool. You'll respond quickly to quality concerns at the end of the line, working with Line Leaders and Assembly Operators so every vehicle stays in sequence and right first time.
The Role:
- Inspect vehicles and carry out road tests
- Investigate quality concerns thoroughly and document any issues
- Work closely with Line Leaders and Assembly Operators to resolve problems at the end of the line
- Follow SOPs and keep your area clean and organised in line with 5S
- Wear the right safety protection and follow all health and safety procedures
The Requirements:
- Full driving licence
- Proven quality inspection experience
- A relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship preferred, or experience working in a quality department
- Good understanding of industry safety standards
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Able to commute reliably to Pontypool
