Project Quantity Surveyor
London | Warehouse Refurbishment andamp; Fit-Out
We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a major warehouse refurbishment and fit-out project in London. The scheme involves extensive renovation works, Mandamp;E upgrades, EV charging infrastructure, heavy groundworks and precast concrete elements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project from procurement through to final account.
Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, including tendering, procurement, valuations and payments.
Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial risks.
Manage variations, change control and contractual notices.
Undertake cost reporting, forecasting and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting.
Administer subcontractor accounts and negotiate final accounts.
Work closely with the Project Manager, site team and supply chain to maintain commercial performance.
Ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate commercial records.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
Strong commercial and subcontractor management experience.
Experience in refurbishment, industrial, warehouse or large-scale fit-out projects is advantageous.
Knowledge of groundworks, precast concrete and Mandamp;E packages would be beneficial.
Strong contractual, negotiation and cost-control skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced London construction project.
