About this role
Academics is expanding its network of Primary Teachers across Widnes and Halton, working with local primary schools seeking reliable, enthusiastic and skilled classroom practitioners. This temporary role covers flexible supply, short-term and long-term teaching opportunities from Reception through to Year 6, including EYFS and Reception classroom teaching, Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2), Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6), day-to-day classroom cover, short-term sickness and planned absence cover, and longer-term teaching placements. Qualified teachers holding QTS, experienced primary classroom practitioners, ECTs looking to begin their induction, and teachers confident delivering the primary curriculum are encouraged to apply. Strong classroom management and communication skills are required. The role is based in Warrington, with pay of £130 to £150 per day.
