Weandrsquo;re currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Ipswich, Suffolk, and are looking for someone to join their busy production team.
The RoleAs a Press Brake Operative, youandrsquo;ll be responsible for operating and setting press brake machinery to accurately bend and form sheet metal components.
Your duties will include:
- Operating and adjusting press brake machinery
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Bending and forming sheet metal to specification
- Checking finished components for quality and accuracy
- Handling and positioning sheet metal
- Using hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all health andamp; safety procedures
- Previous Press Brake experience is desirable
- Experience working with sheet metal or in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health andamp; safety
- A hands-on and reliable approach to work
- Up to andpound;16 per hour
- Ipswich, Suffolk

Full site induction and machinery training will be provided on your first day.
