Remedy Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated PMLD Teacher to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in a specialist educational setting in East London.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed teacher who understands the importance of personalised learning, sensory engagement and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex additional needs.
Be confident planning and delivering individualised lessons tailored to pupils' abilities and developmental needs.
Understand sensory-based learning and alternative communication methods.
Have a patient, caring and adaptable approach.
Be confident working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
Be committed to supporting pupils' communication, independence and overall development.
Previous experience in a specialist SEN setting would be highly beneficial.
