A rapidly growing specialist within the Heat Network and District Heating sector is seeking an experienced Commercial Pipefitter to join their expanding engineering team.
Operating across energy centres, communal heating systems, plant rooms and district heating networks, the company has doubled its engineering workforce over the last 12 months and continues to secure major upgrade and infrastructure projects throughout London and the South East.

The Role
Working across London and the Home Counties, you'll be responsible for the installation, repair, replacement and modification of commercial pipework within energy centres, district heating systems and plant rooms.
Typical duties include:
- Commercial pipe installation and replacement
- Steel and copper pipework
- Distribution network upgrades
- Building risers and communal heating systems
- Plant room modifications and repairs
- Mechanical infrastructure upgrades
- Supporting maintenance teams on specialist projects
You may also gain exposure to pumps, expansion vessels, pressurisation units, side-stream filters and other ancillary plant equipment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Commercial Pipefitting experience
- Steel and copper pipework experience
- Experience with a variety of jointing methods
- Mechanical building services background
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to travel
Desirable:
- Welding experience
- Plant room maintenance experience
- District heating or heat network experience
- Energy centre experience
- Mechanical fault-finding skills
Applicants should be comfortable working with pipe sizes up to DN100 (100mm).

Projects are primarily located across:

- Essex
- Kent
- Surrey
- Sussex

Occasional overnight stays may be required to support projects elsewhere in the UK, with all accommodation and expenses fully funded by the company.
