Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Corby. Pay andamp; Benefits
- Standard Rate: -12.71 per hour-(Enhanced overtime rates payable after 12 weeks)
- Overtime Rate: -19.06-per hour (after 40 hours worked)
- Sunday Rate: -25.42-per hour
Working Hours
- Shift Pattern: Monday and-Tuesday
- Start Time: 06:00 - 16:00 or 07:00 - 19:00
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
- Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
- Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
- Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
- Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
- Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
- Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Minimum of 2 years' driving experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
