Outreach andamp; SEND Tutor - Burnley and Surrounding Areas
Location: Burnley and surrounding areas
Pay: -3037 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time, Flexible Hours
We are looking for experienced Outreach and SEND Tutors to support learners across Burnley and surrounding areas who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting learners with SEND
- Experience delivering 1:1 tuition in community settings, learners' homes, schools, or alternative provisions
- Strong understanding of SEND, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and barriers to learning
- Ability to plan engaging, personalised learning sessions
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- UK teaching, tutoring, or relevant educational experience
The Role
- Deliver tailored educational support to children and young people with additional needs
- Build positive relationships and help re-engage learners in education
- Track progress and provide regular session feedback
- Work flexibly around learner timetables
