About this role
This permanent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role with an electrical bias is based in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, within an established manufacturing business, working a 3-shift continuous rotation. You will carry out reactive breakdown maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and equipment reliability work across production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and supporting continuous improvement. The position requires a time-served engineering background, a strong electrical bias, multi-skilled maintenance experience and good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. The salary is £45,000 to £48,000 per annum plus additional benefits, with regular overtime opportunities available.

An established manufacturing business is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join its Engineering team.
You will be responsible for reactive breakdown maintenance, PPM, fault finding and equipment reliability across a range of production machinery.
Key responsibilities:
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
Planned preventative maintenance
Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
Responding to machinery breakdowns
Supporting continuous improvement
Working closely with Production and Engineering teams
About you:
Time-served Engineering background
Strong electrical bias
Multi-skilled maintenance experience
Manufacturing, production or industrial experience
Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
Shift Pattern:
3-shift continuous rotation:
10pm-6am
6am-2pm
2pm-10pm Mon-Thu / 2pm-7pm Fri
Regular overtime opportunities are also available, including weekend PPM and holiday/absence cover.
