We're recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Mechanic to join a growing commercial vehicle maintenance operation in Leicester.

Working Hours

The Role
Every day is different. You will be responsible for keeping HGVs and trailers safe, reliable and roadworthy, including:
andmiddot;Servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs and trailers
andmiddot;Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and braking faults
andmiddot;Carrying out trailer repairs
andmiddot;Attending roadside breakdowns when required
andmiddot;Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring they remain compliant
andmiddot;Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
andmiddot;Completing accurate service and repair records
andmiddot;Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally
About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic who has:
andmiddot;Previous experience working on HGV trucks and trailers
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Experience with trailer repairs
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3, City andamp; Guilds or equivalent qualification preferred
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
andmiddot;A positive attitude and pride in your workmanship
andmiddot;A strong focus on getting the job right first time
