As a Management Accountant you will manage core accounting activities for an Industrial / Manufacturing business, helping leaders make clear and informed financial decisions. You will work within the Accounting andamp; Finance department to maintain accurate financial information and support the day-to-day running of the business.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts to provide clear and accurate financial information.
- Maintain financial records and ensure accounting data is complete and up to date.
- Review financial performance and highlight key movements for internal stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities with reliable financial analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any differences in a timely way.
- Prepare reports that help the Accounting andamp; Finance team monitor costs and performance.
- Work with colleagues across the Industrial / Manufacturing business to gather financial information.
- Help improve reporting processes to make financial information easier to use.
Profile
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Confidence reconciling accounts and investigating financial variances.
- Good attention to detail when maintaining financial records.
- The ability to present financial information clearly to colleagues.
- Experience working within an Accounting andamp; Finance function.
Job Offer
- Permanent Management Accountant position based in Chatham.
- Salary of -40,000 to -45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
