Smile Education are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a 1 form entry primary school in a year 6 class. They are looking for someone to start after the October half term until the end of the academic year.-
The school is located in a small village, easily commutable and has modern facitlies with a very supportive staff team.

The Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant
- Encouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactive
- Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members.
- Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
- Create a secure and positive environment for children to learn and feel comfortable.
- An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.
- A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3).
- Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work.
- Experience working with Primary school children.
- At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years of work history.
- A daily rate of -100115 a day
