This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their teaching career within a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging Year 1 lessons.
Teaching phonics, early reading, writing and mathematics.
Creating a stimulating and well-organised classroom.
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.
Differentiating activities to support pupils with different abilities.
Establishing positive classroom routines and expectations.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise learning opportunities.
Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
We're looking for someone who:
Holds QTS.
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
Has a strong understanding of phonics and early literacy.
Demonstrates excellent behaviour management.
Is creative, enthusiastic and nurturing.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
