Junior Business Systems Developer
Full time in the office 9am till 5pm
Salary flexible -28-35k

Job Description
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day issues within internal software platform
- Support internal stakeholders with new requirements and bug fixes
- Monitor system performance and investigate any unexpected behaviour
- Testing new deployments to ensure stability
- Help improve existing processes, automation and reporting
- Learn the existing codebase, database structure and business processes
- Assist with data queries and troubleshooting using SQL
- Use development tools such as Claude or Codex to support investigation and Development tasks
- Opportunity to grow with the role and take on greater responsibility across projects supporting the internal system.
Core Competencies
- PHP development and debugging experience
- SQL and relational database understanding
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Logical problem solving and analysis for the root cause
- Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise support tickets effectively
- Willingness to learn business processes and translate them into technical deployments
- Understanding of testing and safe change deployment
- Experience using Git, GitHub or other version control tools
- Understanding of cloud hosting or server environments
- Office 365 suite experience
