Are you a patient, adaptable and enthusiastic HLTA who can support pupils aged 3-11?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream school in Cardiff who are looking to appoint an HLTA to work within their SRB base. The provision supports pupils aged 3-11 with a range of ALN, providing additional support within a mainstream school environment.
The school is looking to take on an HLTA on a full-time, long-term basis from after October half term. The successful HLTA will support pupils with Autism / ASD, ADHD and complex needs, as well as taking responsibility for leading the class and delivering learning activities when the class teacher is released.
The successful HLTA will have:
andbull; HLTA qualification or relevant Level 3 qualification
andbull; Experience supporting children with ALN
andbull; Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, ADHD and complex needs
andbull; Confidence leading a class in the absence of the class teacher
andbull; Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
andbull; A patient, adaptable and caring approach
