Hours: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-12:00am | Friday 12:30pm-10:00pm
Working Week: 45 hours per week

An established commercial vehicle dealership is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join its professional workshop team in Peterborough.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled Technician looking for a stable long-term role, enhanced overtime rates and excellent training and career progression.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of HGVs, commercial vehicles and trailers, helping keep vehicles safe, reliable and on the road.
andmiddot;Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs
andmiddot;Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
andmiddot;Complete defect repairs on HGVs and trailers
andmiddot;Use manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist equipment
andmiddot;Complete job cards, service sheets and online records
andmiddot;Follow manufacturer procedures and warranty requirements
andmiddot;Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
andmiddot;Work as part of a professional workshop team
About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic with:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance andamp; Repair
andmiddot;Previous HGV or commercial vehicle workshop experience
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and diagnostic fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Good attention to detail and pride in your work
andmiddot;A professional and proactive approach
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team
HGV Licence desirable but not essential.
