Workshop Mechanic

Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: andpound;46,215 per annum + Overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working hours considered

Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Carry out vehicle maintenance inspections, servicing and repairs.
andmiddot;Diagnose faults and complete the necessary repairs.
andmiddot;Work with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure safety inspections are planned at least six months in advance.
andmiddot;Ensure all statutory vehicle inspections and obligations are met.
andmiddot;Complete brake testing as required.
andmiddot;Conduct post-repair road tests to confirm vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Essential Requirements
andmiddot;City andamp; Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
andmiddot;Experience maintaining and repairing large vehicle fleets.
andmiddot;Experience working with specialist hydraulic systems.
andmiddot;A strong commitment to vehicle safety, compliance and quality workmanship.
