This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to support and maintain and develop health andamp; safety standards across projects.
The Role:
- Supporting day-to-day health andamp; safety across the site
- Ensuring compliance with current Handamp;S legislation
- Developing and maintaining Handamp;S policies and procedures
- Carrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspections
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Providing Handamp;S guidance, training and support to employees and management
- Promoting a strong health andamp; safety culture throughout the business
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Health andamp; SafetyManager or Handamp;S Advisor role
- Preferably experience within the construction, heavy civil engineering or power sector
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable
- Strong knowledge of Handamp;S legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and influence others
