Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading precision engineering company in Warwick.
We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a high-precision engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in both CNC and manual grinding to join a stable company offering competitive pay and a permanent PM shift.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components using a range of grinding machinery, ensuring work is completed to specification and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operating Jones andamp; Shipman CNC Cylindrical Grinding
- Setting and operating manual cylindrical grinding machines
- Operating manual surface grinding machines
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspecting finished components to ensure conformance to tolerances
- Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in cylindrical and surface grinding
- Ability to set and operate CNC grinding machinery
- Experience with Jones andamp; Shipman grinding machines would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to producing high-quality work
Shift Pattern
PM Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:30pm
- Friday: 12:45pm - 5:30pm
Salary
- -16 -to- -20 per hour inc shift allowance
