Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent following a successful 3-month trial period
Weandrsquo;re currently looking for a Forklift Driver to join a well-established local business in Leiston, known for looking after its staff and offering real stability.
Youandrsquo;ll need a valid Counterbalance forklift licence and a full UK C1 driving licence, as the role includes collecting parts from local suppliers in company vehicles. Previous warehouse or stores experience is preferred, but weandrsquo;re mostly looking for someone reliable, proactive and good with the details.
Forklift Driver duties: -
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Processing goods inwards and outwards
- Picking and packing parts accurately
- Maintaining stock accuracy and inventory records
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Transporting materials around the warehouse and site
- Collecting parts and materials from local suppliers using company vehicles
- Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting stores operations
What weandrsquo;re looking for: -
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Full UK C1 driving licence
- Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- A reliable, proactive approach to work
