This role is ideal for practically minded candidates who can work safely using their own initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a dedicated, customer-focused team. The position involves shift work.
Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Loading and unloading slitting and rewinding machines
andbull; Setting up and operating machines, including adjusting cutting blades, tension, and brake settings
andbull; Inspecting products for quality during operation and making necessary adjustments
andbull; Unloading, cleaning, and labelling prepared rolls for customer orders
andbull; Completing production order confirmations using the SAP system
andbull; Regularly cleaning machines and maintaining high housekeeping standards
andbull; Operating reach trucks and roll-lifting equipment when required
andbull; Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Factory Manager
Essential Skills and Attributes:
andbull; Ability to work safely in a busy factory environment
andbull; Experience operating machinery is advantageous but not essential
