Facilities Maintenance Technician (3 day assignment)

We're looking for a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a busy student accommodation site in East London. This temporary assignment is focused on building safety, compliance and day-to-day facilities maintenance.

-Schedule: Monday to Wednesday
-Hours: 9am-5pm
-Pay: -16.92 per hour (PAYE)
Role Overview
You'll carry out a blend of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the building remains safe, compliant and ready for residents.
Duties include:
- General maintenance repairs - routine fault finding and minor repairs
- PPM duties - fire alarm tests, lift inspections, plant room checks, emergency lighting inspections, critical equipment checks and external property inspections
- Health andamp; Safety compliance - ensuring safe working practices and accurate record-keeping
- Proven building maintenance experience
- City andamp; Guilds qualification or equivalent
- Strong Health andamp; Safety awareness
- Experience with PPM routines
- Ability to work independently
- Clear communication and customer focus
