Experienced Saw Operative

Senior Salmon is working with a manufacturer in Newark on a Temp to perm vacancy and are looking to recruit a Saw OperatorDuties will include operating and maintaining sawing machinery to cut and shape materials such as wood and PIR Boards.This involves setting up and operating the machines, adjusting cutting speeds, making sure the saws are properly lubricated and maintained, and keeping accurate records of production. The Operator is also responsible for inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, and troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.Saw Operator Duties Set up and operate a variety of saws to cut metal and other materials Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications Keep records of daily production Examine finished work pieces for defectsRequirements Ability to read technical drawings Experience in the operation of saws Knowledge of safety proceduresSenior Salmon are acting as an employment business in relation to this temp to perm opportunity, please call (phone number removed) or apply for more informationDue to the nature of this work ONLY experienced candidates may be considered for this role, due to the volume of applications we may not respond to all applications.
