As an EV Charger Installation Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and repairing EV charging systems in domestic and commercial environments.andnbsp;
EV electricianandnbsp;will be responsible for:
- Installation of new circuits to supply EV charging points in commercial and domestic settings, complying with BS7671 18th Edition regulations.andnbsp;
- Carrying out Initial Verification of Electrical Installations.andnbsp;
- Completing Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates.andnbsp;
- Diagnosing and repairing faults with existing EV charging installations.andnbsp;
- Conducting routine maintenance and testing of EV charging circuits.andnbsp;
- Ensuring all installations meet manufacturer standards and company quality expectations.andnbsp;
- Conducting site surveys and establishing cable routes and installation methods.andnbsp;
- Maintaining excellent workmanship standards while adhering to health andamp; safety and building regulations.andnbsp;
EV electricianandnbsp;Requirements
EV electricianandnbsp;Applicants must have:
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation
- City andamp; Guilds 2391 Inspection andamp; Testing qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Minimum 3andnbsp;yearsand#39; experience as a qualified electrician
- ECS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong electrical testing and fault-finding skills
- Good problem-solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and confident manner when working in customersand#39; homes
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ideally, andnbsp;Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points (2921-34), Virtual, Level 3 Award
