We are working on a confidential basis with a well-established London traditional fit-out and refurbishment contractor to appoint an experienced Estimator.
This contractor delivers high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment schemes across the UK, with a strong London presence. Projects range from circa andpound;1k through to andpound;50m and include:
- CAT A andamp; CAT B office fit-outs
- Commercial refurbishments (lobbies, receptions, floors, services upgrades)
- Works within live, occupied buildings requiring careful phasing
- Medium to large-scale commercial projects up to andpound;50m
andnbsp;andnbsp; ABOUT THE ROLE The Role As Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, responsible for producing competitive and commercially sound tenders across a range of interior fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates from first principles
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and employerandrsquo;s requirements
- Managing the tender process from enquiry to submission
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor quotations
- Value engineering and risk analysis
- Attending client meetings and supporting bid strategy
- Working closely with commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover
- Proven experience in office fit-out and commercial refurbishment
- Exposure to projects ranging from small works to multi-million pound schemes
- Strong understanding of live environment projects
- Ability to price both traditional and design andamp; build tenders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Stable career history within reputable main contractors
