My client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for an Environmental Consultant to join their Team in Cheltenham.andnbsp;
You will work from the office on a hybrid basis. andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;andnbsp;
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrology, flood risk, water resources or GIS and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Environmental Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulation Assessments.andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;
Experience of river habitat surveys, LVIAs or hydraulic modelling. andnbsp;
You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to write reports. andnbsp;
As an Environmental Consultant you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, water quality, hydro-ecology, flood risk, LVIA and water resources projects for infrastructure, renewable energy and developments across the UK. andnbsp;You will be trained and supported to complete;andnbsp;
Watercourse assessments.
River habitat surveys.
Habitat regulation assessments. andnbsp;
LVIAandnbsp;
Water framework directive assessments.
Water resource assessments
Hydrological assessments
Water quality assessments and monitoring. andnbsp;
Data analysis of monitoring data.andnbsp;
Flood risk assessments.andnbsp;
GIS mapping. andnbsp;andnbsp;
Climate risk and resilience assessments . andnbsp;
Environmental permitting applications and compliance. andnbsp;andnbsp;
Hydraulic modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller. andnbsp;
Site visits, sampling and of river environments. andnbsp; andnbsp;
