Pay: -180250 per day, depending on experience

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced English Teacher for a secondary school in St Albans.
We're keen to hear from teachers who know how to get pupils involved in a text, develop confident writing and make English accessible to students with different abilities. You'll bring strong subject knowledge, clear classroom expectations and a practical approach to helping pupils improve.
The role
Plan and deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons.
Adapt teaching to support and challenge pupils across a range of abilities.
Develop pupils' reading, writing and analytical skills.
Assess progress and provide clear, useful feedback.
Work with colleagues on planning, resources and pupil progress.
What we're looking for
Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English at secondary level, including GCSE.
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
Confident classroom management and high expectations.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
This English Teacher role would suit an experienced practitioner who enjoys their subject and can build positive relationships with pupils.
