Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join an earthworks scheme in Oxford, with an immediate start available and 8 months of work.
The Role
- Setting out and surveying on an earthworks project
- Working closely with the Site Manager and engineering team
- Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions
- Carrying out as-built surveys and maintaining accurate site records
- Supporting the delivery of works safely and to programme
- Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Engineering Surveyor, ideally within earthworks/civils
- Strong setting-out experience
- Competent with Total Station, GPS/GNSS and relevant surveying equipment
- CSCS and relevant site qualifications
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant engineering/surveying qualification or equivalent experience
