Engineering Production Operative / Driver

The Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Engineering Production Operative to join a specialist engineering company based in Bridgwater. The role will involve supporting production and factory operations, as well as carrying out delivery work using a 3.5-tonne flatbed vehicle when required.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Thursday. The work offers variety, with time spent both in the factory and delivering engineering equipment and materials to customers and site works.
Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Supporting day-to-day engineering production and factory operations.
andmiddot;Carrying out practical duties such as preparing, handling and moving materials and components.
andmiddot;Driving a 3.5-tonne flatbed vehicle safely and responsibly for deliveries across the UK.
andmiddot;Loading and securing loads safely, with support available where needed.
andmiddot;Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures where required.
andmiddot;Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel.
andmiddot;Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
andmiddot;Keeping work areas and the vehicle clean, tidy and in good condition.
andmiddot;Following workplace health and safety procedures.

andmiddot;Experienced in engineering, production or delivery work, ideally, though relevant experience will be considered.
A full UK driving licence suitable for driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle is essential.
