The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an established Mandamp;E contractor looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager for an 18-month contract commencing in January 2027 in the Slough area.
Our client delivers major building services projects across the commercial, aviation and data centre sectors, with a strong pipeline of technically demanding work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager seeking a long-term contract, offering -450500 per day Outside IR35 and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical building services packages, managing projects from planning and coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with the client, design consultants, site teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex electrical packages in demanding project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of electrical packages across commercial, aviation and data centre projects
Lead Electrical Site Managers, Supervisors and specialist subcontractors
Manage project programmes, milestones and short-term lookaheads
Coordinate electrical design development, drawings and technical information
Manage technical submissions, RFIs and design queries
Oversee procurement of electrical equipment, materials and long-lead items
Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, public health and other project packages
Monitor project progress, quality and commercial performance
Attend client, consultant, design team and subcontractor meetings
Manage variations, change control and commercial matters alongside the QS team
Ensure electrical installations comply with specifications, relevant standards and project requirements
Oversee QA documentation, inspections and quality control
Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with Health andamp; Safety requirements
Requirements
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in Mandamp;E / Building Services contracting.
Ideally, you will have:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an Mandamp;E contractor
Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations
Experience managing substantial electrical packages and specialist subcontractors
Commercial fit-out, aviation or data centre project experience would be highly advantageous
Experience managing projects from planning and coordination through to commissioning and handover
Strong understanding of electrical design coordination, technical submissions and RFIs
Experience managing programme, procurement and project delivery
Good commercial awareness and underst
