Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate Early Years Educator to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth, South London, starting 9th November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 qualified childcare professional who enjoys helping young children develop their confidence, communication and early learning skills.
The successful candidate will support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
The Role - Early Years Educator
As an Early Years Educator, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children's learning and development across the EYFS curriculum.
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities through structured learning and play.
Encouraging early literacy, phonics, numeracy, communication and social development.
Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning records.
Promoting positive behaviour, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Maintaining a safe, inclusive and well-organised learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and parents.
Requirements
To be considered for this Early Years Educator vacancy, you must have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Experience working with young children in a nursery, Reception or primary school setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
