About this role
This permanent Early Years Educator role is based in Southwark, South East London, with a start date of January 2027. Working through SANZA Teaching Agency in partnership with an outstanding primary school, you will support children during the important early stages of their development. Responsibilities include supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities, helping to deliver an exciting and stimulating Early Years curriculum, and supporting children's communication, language, physical and social development. You will also observe children's progress and contribute to assessments and learning records. The rate is £95 to £130 per day.

The Opportunity
SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with an outstanding primary school in Southwark to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their team from January 2027.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment, helping children develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
- Helping to deliver an exciting and stimulating Early Years curriculum.
- Supporting children's communication, language, physical and social development.
- Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning records.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other early years practitioners.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Has previous experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting.
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Is passionate about supporting children's early development.
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Has a warm, patient and proactive approach.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development.
