About this role
This is a temporary Design Manager role in Cardiff with a leading contractor, starting immediately and running until March. You will oversee the final stages of a major project, focusing on the remaining elements of the internal fit-out. Responsibilities include coordinating design information, managing subcontractor and consultant interactions, resolving technical queries and ensuring smooth delivery through to completion. The role requires previous Design Manager experience in construction, strong Tier 1 Design and Build experience, experience managing internal fit-out packages, the ability to coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project teams, strong technical understanding and attention to detail, experience managing design programmes and technical submissions, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry
- Strong Tier 1 Design & Build experience
- Experience managing internal fit-out packages
- Ability to coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and project teams

- Experience managing design programmes and technical submissions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
