Composite Trimmer / Fitters
Our client require skilled technicians with working knowledge of Composite materials.
Duties:
andmiddot;Carry out controlled structural adhesive bonding processes, including surface preparation, application, curing, and validation.
andmiddot;Assembly of Composite components in line with Drawings, CAD or MoM, ensuring correct fixturing is used where required.
andmiddot;Carry out any small out of "Fettling" as required using approved equipment and processes.
andmiddot;Ensure Jigs and Fixtures are checked and maintained in line with Tooling Documents. With full calibration checks done as per schedule.
andmiddot;Follow Health andamp; Safety requirements along with ensuring you have read any COSHH documents before using materials.
andmiddot;Maintain documentation and bookings against jobs.
andmiddot;Feedback assembly / component issues to Line Manager

Qualifications:
andmiddot;Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with experience in composite materials or related industries.
andmiddot;Vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting, engineering, or a related field.
andmiddot;Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments.
andmiddot;Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
andmiddot;Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
andmiddot;High level of precision and attention to detail in fitting and assembly tasks.
andmiddot;Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively across departments.
andmiddot;Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
andmiddot;Familiarity with composite materials and processes.
andmiddot;Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Successful candidates must provide a recent DBS check as the working environment is based around aerospace and defence projects.

3 Month + Contract
EXCELLENT above market standard hourly rates
Deemed OUTSIDE IR35
42 Hours per week + time/half overtime when permitting
