- Starting Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm during training period (approx. 6 months)
- After training period moving to dayshift - 4 on 4 off 6:30am to 6:00pm
Salary:andnbsp;Starting at andpound;17.30/hr rising to andpound;17.92 + andpound;35 per shift after training period (approx. 6 months)andnbsp;
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting/Operating High Speed CNC machines to perform tasks such as milling, drilling, tapping, grinding etc
- General operation andamp; supervision of other machine shop machinery.
- Ensure all tooling, fixtures andamp; CNC programs are available prior to commencing production
- Keeping accurate records of component quantities and scrap produced on the production documentation
- Maintain high standards in production output and component quality
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings etc.
- Basic Editing of Programs andamp; tool tables
- Take ownership of the component quality andamp; records
- To control, check andamp; replace tooling andamp; cutters
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Checking/refilling lubricant levels
Experience Required:
- Knowledge and understanding of CNC 3 axis, 4 axis machining and Renishaw probingandnbsp;
- Must have experience on Fanuc Robodrils
- Experience in operating CNC machinery
