Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm to 10:30pm Friday: 2:00pm to 8:00pm
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Job Description:
- Programming, setting andamp; operating Mazak 4 andamp; 5 Axis Machining Centres
- Producing a wide andamp; varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand Mazatrol CNC controls andamp; be able to program/edit/improve existing andamp; new parts.
- Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health andamp; safety guidelines andamp; rules.
- Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in Handamp;S improvements andamp; kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
- Have a solid understanding of setting andamp; operating CNC controlled Machining Centres
- Can demonstrate andamp; have experience of safely using CNC controls.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Program from drawing Mazatrol CNC controls.
- Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC or similar.
