Building Control Surveyor - Class 2A
Location: Surrey
Rate: andpound;60+ per hour (Inside IR35)
Contract: Initial 6 months
Hours: 30 hours per week
Carrington West are working with a local authority in Surrey who are looking to appoint an experienced Class 2A Registered Building Inspector on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor seeking a part-time contract, with a workload predominantly focused on site inspections.
The Role:
andmiddot;Undertaking site inspections across a range of domestic building projects.
andmiddot;Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
andmiddot;Identifying non-compliant works and providing appropriate technical advice.
andmiddot;Liaising with contractors, developers and homeowners to ensure building standards are maintained.
andmiddot;Supporting the wider Building Control team with inspections and associated duties as required.
Requirements:
andmiddot;Registered Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) at Class 2A or above.
andmiddot;Previous experience undertaking Building Control inspections.
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and associated legislation.
andmiddot;Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
