Hours: Average 48 hours per week, 5 shifts per week
Shift Pattern: Nights, with start times typically between 11pm and 2am
We are recruiting Class 2 / Category C HGV Drivers to join a busy haulage and distribution operation based in Cheltenham. Youandrsquo;ll be responsible for delivering fresh dairy products and related goods to retail customers across the region, providing a professional, reliable and friendly service.
Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply! If youandrsquo;ve recently passed your Category C test and are looking to build your driving career, full training and ongoing development are available.
The RoleYouandrsquo;ll be working on a multi-drop delivery operation in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring products reach customers safely, on time and in excellent condition.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly in line with UK road transport regulations.
Completing multi-drop deliveries to retail customers across the region.
Loading and unloading goods, including manual handling where required.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
Maintaining product quality, stock rotation and delivery accuracy.
Following health and safety, food hygiene and security procedures.
Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally.
Supporting colleagues with holiday and absence cover when required.
Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid digital tachograph card.
A responsible, safety-conscious approach to driving.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to undertake manual handling duties.
Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
New pass drivers are encouraged to apply andndash; previous HGV driving experience is advantageous but not essential where training is provided.
