Siamo Group are working with a well-known logistics company based in Highbridge, who are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Tramping Drivers for ad hoc work.
This is an ideal opportunity for drivers looking for flexibility and a better work-life balance, allowing you to work around your personal commitments while gaining valuable experience with a reputable logistics company.
Shifts can start between 3am and 8am, with shift durations of up to 15 hours from the start time. You will typically complete around 2andndash;3 collection and delivery stops per shift, travelling to destinations including Glasgow, Carlisle and London.
The role offers a competitive hourly rate of andpound;15.30 per hour, alongside a andpound;25 night-out allowance for overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow EU driversandrsquo; hours regulations and working time requirements.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Deliver goods safely, efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Use a company smartphone with pre-installed delivery applications.
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe and roadworthy.
To be considered, you must have at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience, an up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and a valid digital tachograph card. You should also be reliable, professional and comfortable with nationwide travel and tramping work.
