About this role
We’re recruiting two Chartered Building Surveyors for established businesses operating across the property, construction and engineering sectors in Sevenoaks. Both permanent roles offer varied projects, direct client contact and ownership of your own work. Position 1 covers building surveys, condition inspections and defect diagnosis, dilapidations and schedules of condition, repair specifications and remedial recommendations, plus technical advice on refurbishment and construction projects. Position 2 combines traditional building surveying with valuation work, including building surveys, property condition assessments, professional reports and property valuations. Both roles require an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor with strong building surveying and defect diagnosis experience, excellent report writing and client skills. Salary: £65,000 per annum.

The opportunities
Position 1 - Building Surveying / Engineering Projects
Working on a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties, you'll be responsible for:
Building surveys, condition inspections and defect diagnosis
Dilapidations and schedules of condition
Repair specifications and remedial recommendations
Technical advice on refurbishment and construction projects
Liaising with clients, contractors and other technical professionals
Position 2 - Building Surveying & Valuations
A broader property-focused role combining traditional building surveying with valuation work.
You'll undertake building surveys, assess property condition, prepare professional reports and carry out property valuations.
What We're Looking For
MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
Strong building surveying and defect diagnosis experience
Excellent report writing and client-facing skills
Ability to manage your own workload and projects
For the valuation position, previous property valuation experience is essential
